My name is Vanessa Hernandez and I am an indie author currently residing in Orlando, FL. Prior to publishing my first drama crime fiction novel I did not use the advice of beta readers nor did I send my manuscript to any publishers. I followed my instinct and published my first novel through Amazon's self publishing platform. Being an independent author, I solely counted on the support of my friends and family. I embraced the acclaim they showered over me once reading my debut novel. So much so, I persisted to write to celebrities and social media influencers through Instagram offering my novel in exchange for feedback. My messages were responded to by some of the most popular TV personalities of this era. Again, I experienced overwhelming glorification allowing me the opportunity to be featured on the Instagram stories of Beth Bice, Stephanie Sersen, Danielle Dodd, and Amber Bowles from Lifetime's TV series Married At First Sight. I've been featured of the Instagram stories from contestants on the Netflix TV show Rhythm and Flow. I've also connected with a couple VH1 personalities from the Love and Hip Hop franchise. Repeatedly, I've been told I have a story that will reach great lengths and achievements, but I would like to know what you think.
